Screen Status: 2007-05-25
By SumOfSome | June 4, 2007
This status is being posted a bit belated because I was out of the country, however, the percentages still reflect the correct dates since the tracking system uses historical pricing to generate the stats.
10 week returns are starting to show interesting results:
- On the negative side of the 10-week are the CAPS and ClearStation picks. All four of these related screens consistently beat the S&P in the short-term (2 weeks) by a decent margin (some up to three times the S&P). However, all four are losing to the S&P, some by up to double, over the mid-term (10 weeks).
- On the positive side of the 10 week returns, we see MSN Growth, both of The Street’s screens, and the Zweig Mimic beating the S&P by 4.9-11.4%.
There will not be a new screen or a screen pick this week since I was behind schedule. The regular schedule will resume with a new screen, status, and picks next Friday. Just to note again, this lapse from last week will not affect any of the statistics collected.

Notes: Blue shading and green text indicate the screens are beating the S&P by the % indicated. On our screens page, you can find more detail regarding how the screens are performed, and the source of each of the screens.
